Description:
Six Sistic Consulting is seeking a web programmer with significant experience designing and implementing high-performance, highly scalable, quality web applications for our client located in Hoboken, NJ . You should enjoy being involved in all aspects of the SDLC in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment and be ready to take responsibility for assigned tasks from inception through deployment and maintenance with minimal supervision. You should be familiar with modern software development practices and methodologies. In addition you will be involved in strategic and tactical planning regarding the creation and enhancement of the applications developed.
Position: Web Developer / Programmer with ASP.net, C#, Javascript, XHTML … skills.
Responsibilities:
- Participation in all aspects of the software development life cycle (design, implement, test, document, and deploy)
- Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation, and deliverables
- Learn and evaluate new technologies/tools as needed
- Mentor junior developers
- Work with project managers and development teams to create timelines/schedules
- Interact with business teams and clients to provide technical expertise and feedback
- Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards
- Lead and/or participate in peer code reviews
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce functional and technical specifications
Required Skills/Technologies:
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Excellent C# 2.0 programming skills
- Excellent ASP.NET 2.0 skills
- Very strong Web Services skills, including experience with XML
- Very strong SQL Server 2005 and T-SQL programming skills
- Experience with AJAX and ASP.NET AJAX
- Strong client side skills including XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with development best practices such as unit testing and source control.
- B.S. in computer science or equivalent
